Baby gifts

I really enjoy making things for others. And when that person is a brand new baby, it is especially fun. This is the first set of baby things I've made. Piglet and I will be visiting her very soon.

I didn't plan on it but ended up with a red, pink, and green color scheme.

simple bibs ::

a little clutch to hold diapers and wipes ::

Some itty bitty versions of my fabric button felt clips [so stinkin' tiny and cute!] ::

Now I need to go make some of this stuff for MY baby!

One nice day

We haven't had very good weather around here and were delighted to wake up [early!] to a sunny day on Saturday. We contemplated checking out this year's Tulip Festival but decided to head to the beach instead. So glad we did that as Piglet had a blast playing with her new sand toys with daddy while I vegged out with my ever-growing belly. It was a perfect day to be at the beach. We can't wait to go back. Weather, please cooperate...

Me and my 28 week belly

I am huge... [and keep thinking if my *lazy* husband had just stood up to take this photo, I'd look much smaller...]

Is there a better way to end a beach day?

Gifts for little sis

She turned 30 this week. Yikes, I can't believe we're both in our 30s now.

I tried out a few new projects for her... Although a little mismatch-y, I love making everything. Hope she'll like them too.

Chopsticks

About a year ago, I purchased these chopsticks for Piglet. They were too cute to pass up. I never thought the day would come when Piglet can actually use them, but here it is. I really like the concept and design of the Chopstick Kids.
